Vegan food in Vienna

Venezuelan arepas, bowls and empanadas with avocado, plantain and cassava. Gluten-free and plant-based, the way it has always been in Venezuela.

Vegan Beef arepa with seasoned plantain peel and guacamole.

Naturally plant-based

Venezuelan cooking is plant-based by tradition. Corn, plantain, cassava, black beans and avocado are not side dishes. They are the heart of many of our plates. At Aguacate you'll find vegan arepas like our Vegan Beef Arepa made from slow-cooked plantain peel, alongside bowls that were not adapted but have always been plant-based.

What is an arepa?

Vegan Beef

Slow-cooked plantain peel shredded like pulled beef, with Venezuelan sofrito of onion, bell pepper, tomato and garlic. No soy, no seitan, a real Caribbean technique.
